William and Kate Present the new princess!

Well after days on baby watch, it was a span of 12 hours between Labor and preparing to leave St. Mary's hospital in London. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge presented the new princess to the world today. It seems like the birth itself was short and brief for the Duchess. She was glowing and looking lovely only hours after in a gorgeous yellow flowery dress. I was very excited to see the new princess as so many others and when I did, something occurred to me. I will never understand how so many celebrities take months waiting to decide when fans will get the first glimpse of their new babies. And they also go through a bidding war with publications as to who will get to do the feature. But the British Monarchy comes out hours after giving birth and presents the princess who will be fourth in line to the throne to the people of the world. This is something that to me is so humbling because of how special it is to us (the public) as it is to them.  In our country, we love so many of our celebrity couples and truly get excited over their love stories. So why couldn't we get as much consideration in sharing those moments? And with that thought, take a look at William and Kate's amazing day: 

They truly were the sweetest moments of the day and Kate looked so beautiful after just having the baby girl whose name is to be determined. I am looking forward to that announcement as well.
