As a first time single father, I have become the king of old school remedies. My family is from the south where we have special recipes and remedies for everything and I do mean everything! I have a 1-year-old son who was teething really bad! Having 8 teeth coming in all at once! On top of that, some nights he would wake up with a diaper rash and every product that I tried specifically for diaper rashes did not work for him. Worried and without a clue what to do, I asked around for some advice, I was then told to use "Corn Starch" because it immediately dries out the rash. So I tried it and I have been using it ever since. I simply pour some corn starch into a Ziploc bag, place it in his diaper bag and if I see any type of redness when I change his diaper, I put corn starch directly on it. It attacks the rash before the rash attacks him! If your child is suffering from a diaper rash I recommend corn starch. It works!
